The Giving Tree is Back

With us shifting to drive thru and curbside services only, unfortunately, the Giving Tree has ended early this year. But rest assured: the leftover mittens are being taken care of!

If you have gifts to return, you may enter the vestibule at the Main Library to return gifts in the designated bin.

Thank you to everyone for being there for those in need, even in the middle of a global pandemic. This community never ceases to impress!

Beginning November 9, pick up a tag from our AAPLD Community Giving Tree at either library location. Purchase the gift(s) on the wish list, and make the holidays brighter for the children, families, and seniors who need it in our community.

Giving Tree tags include general information about the recipient along with their "wish list" items, so shopping is easy! Donors are asked to bring unwrapped gifts to either Library locations with their original Giving Tree tags, as well as a gift bag for the gift. If possible, gift receipts are appreciated.

"Our Giving Trees provide a way for AAPLD to connect residents who are looking for an opportunity to support residents who need the help," Sara Murray, Executive Director says. "We are privileged to serve our community in this way, and have been delighted and touched by the generous spirit of the community in past years."

Unwrapped gifts are due back at either library location by Wednesday, December 9. Donations will help local schoolchildren and other community members. Be sure to stop and grab a tag!
