Where would you go to find out about recall notices on the car you want to buy? Where would you go to improve your grammar, study for the ACT, find magazine articles about the Mediterranean diet, or learn about Pocahontas?
The online databases in AAPLD’s Virtual Library are a great place to find answers to those questions and more! To help our patrons discover the depth of this amazing and versatile resource, we’re launching our Database Deep Dive Scavenger Hunt.
Between May 18 and May 31, we’ll post a question each day on Twitter, that can be answered by exploring our databases. Using an online form, available on our website, post the answer to the question and the database where you found it. Each correct response earns an entry to win one of two online gift cards from a local merchant, including Jersey Mikes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Scorched Earth Brewing and more!
Drawings will be held on Monday May 25 and June 1. Feel free to submit answers all at once or one at a time, but the more correct answers you submit before the first drawing, the more chances you have to win a prize.

Due to licensing contracts with our database vendors, you must have an AAPLD Library card to participate. You do not need to complete all the questions to be eligible to win. Patrons are only eligible to win once.
