You can stream instantly through your desktop browser or the mobile app. If you use the mobile app, you can also download albums and songs to your device for offline playback later, where Wi-Fi may be unavailable. Materials are automatically returned and removed from your device at the end of the lending period.

Freegal Music

Download and/or stream music on any compatible device. Browse through Freegal's vast collection of over 15+ million songs from over 200+ genres. We know you'll find something you love!

All you need is your library card number to get started. Freegal offers access to about 15 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists and over 40,000 music videos. In total, the collection is comprised of music from over 40,000 labels with music that originates in over 100 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Access to Freegal is limited to patrons of subscribing libraries. You can enjoy unlimited streaming and can download up to 5 songs per week.
