Your Chance to Write That Book

November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, whichNanowrimo Shield challenges participants (known as “Wrimos”) to write that book they’ve always meant to write.

NaNoWriMo helps writers track their word counts and get to 50,000 words in a mere 30 days. As part of this month, the Library would like you to Come Write In! We have a history of welcoming writers with comfy chairs, computer work stations, and a friendly, contemplative environment. Because sometimes you just have to get away to write.

Writers are welcome to use both library locations for their writing projects, but we are hosting two NaNoWriMo events off site at Daily Projects Coffee Bar, 124 Randall Road in Algonquin. Learn more about NaNoWriMo.
