Book Club Reading Together

The best thing about reading books? Talking about them! We've got book clubs for all ages that meet up monthly to discuss everything from classics to best sellers to seasonal reads. There's a variety of times to choose from, so you're bound to find a club or discussion group that fits your schedule. 

For Adults

Bookalicious - A Not-So-YA-Book Club (2nd Monday of the month @ 7pm)
Meet at the Village Vintner (2380 Esplanade Drive, Algonquin, 847-658-4900) to discuss a Young Adult genre book while enjoying some appetizers.

Gingerbread Edition
We will read a gingerbread-themed story and then work in teams to decorate Gingerbread Houses that will be on display in the library for the month of December. Registration begins November 14.

Saturday, January 9, 2-3 pm: 
The Scraps Book: Notes from a Colorful Life
We’ll read and discuss the Monarch-Award-nominated book written and illustrated by Lois Ehlert. Afterwards we will create our own art collages in her style. Registration begins December 12.
