On Wednesday, October 23, we'll have the blood drive truck back in our parking lot at our Main Library. In partnership with Heartland Blood Donors, the library regularly has the blood drive in order to better the community.
It couldn't be simpler! Click the link, schedule an appointment time, and after you arrive, simply get on the bus to complete your donation.
All donors must be in good health and feeling well at the time of donation. You must be at least 17 years old of age, though 16 year olds are eligible provided they have written approval a parent/guardian.
All donors should be 110 pounds or more. It is recommended to eat something within the four hours prior to the donation. Fever, persistent cough, sore throat, or chest congestion disqualifies a donor.
