A “bookface photo” is when you replace your face or body with a book’s cover and then take a picture. Use any book and snap a photo…be creative! Submit entries to bookface@aapld.org from April 1–13. Then, vote by liking your favorite on the library’s Facebook page from April 15–30. One child, teen, and adult will each win a gift card

This fun trend was started in March 2012 by one clever guy on Twitter. #Bookface is a participatory photo game in which people place a book cover in front of their face to reveal a “hybrid face” of the subject and the image on the cover of the book.
