Eclectic Cafe
Since 1998, the area's longest running teen poetry cafe! 2nd Wednesday's September through July Poets, writers, actors, musicians and friends…share your talents with us! We meet once a month in an enjoyable "coffee-house" atmosphere, downstairs at the Eastgate Branch library building, 115 Eastgate Drive, Algonquin, IL. Snacks, soda, and coffee (of course) will be served. Open to TEENS going into Grade 9 and until age 19! Enjoy some of our poetry. Doors open at 6:30 pm. “Open Mike” 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
