Rosario vampire was a good manga. Tsukune Aono has no where to go to high school, because he failed his entrance exams! His parents find him a new high school, but this high school is for monsters, and Tsukune is a human. There he finds a vampire who is kind and turns out to be his first friend. The problem is, she sucks his blood!. Moka Akashiya is a good girl, until you take her Rosario off, then her vampire comes out. After her vampire comes out she turns into a powerful vampire. These two meet a daemon that tries to kill them but they were able to kill the daemon. When they meet up with another daemon that tries to get Tsukune to fall in love with her, they fight. She doesn't die because Tsukune stops Moka. Now Kurumu Kurono (the daemon that tried getting him to love her) tries to prove that he is her "Mate of Fate!" The three of them fight two more daemons and join the newspaper club.

Red Angel v.1 by Makoto Tateno. Review on 28SEP2009

Red Angel is a great action manga. It's like the old myth of vampires, where they can't go out into sunlight, hate garlic, crosses and holy water will burn them! But Mika isn't your normal vampire. She doesn't suck blood like the rest! Crossses and sunlight are fine with her. She has another half and his name is Eru. Together they suck blood by hugging there prey. The only way they suck blood is if they like the person. They have to know who it is and they try to find the best way to suck that person's life.

 

Red Angel v.2 by Makoto Tateno. Review on 28SEP2009

This was an action packed manga! When Mika starts to think her other half, Eru, is hiding something from her, she trys to remember her past. Finally she remembers that she or rather he used to live in heaven and his name is Michael. He is now a fallen angel!. It's a page turner and kept me reading! This series is great to read, but you do have to read the first volume to understand the second.
