The Pipers Come listen to a great local band! They have played at Clearwater in Dundee, Eclectic Cafe at the Eastgate Branch and now here! Poetry Coffeehouse Come to Algonquin’s hottest and longest running teen café! After 10 years this monthly poetry café is still going strong for high school students going into 9th grade and up. We meet on the 2nd Wednesdays September – July. We encourage and invite students to share their poetry, musical talents and writing or just have fun being entertained in a coffeehouse atmosphere. Refreshments are served. Doors open at 6:30 “Open Mike” 7:00-9:00 pm
