Download Videos, Audiobooks and E-Books!

You must have a valid Algonquin library card to download digital media.

The Algonquin Area Public Library District provides access to three digital media collections for our patrons:

Visit the North Suburban Digital Consortium Download Center  from your home computer and follow the step-by-step instructions in the Quick-Start Guide! This collection now contains both videos and e-books, including classic films, nonfiction, and children's books.  If you need help, contact our Reference Desk.

Visit the NetLibrary website  from your home computer and click the link for "Create a Free Account" at the upper right. This e-book collection contains a great selection of both fiction and nonfiction, including the popular Pimsleur foreign language guides! If you need help, contact our Reference Desk.

The TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love!
