DONATE Your Books, DVDs, CDs, Video Games

We welcome your clean and gently used adult and children's books, audio-visual materials including Music CD’s, and records (vinyl) in good condition, DVD’s, Video Games and books on cassette or CD. However, due to limited storage space, we must be selective about accepted donations.

WE CANNOT USE : Magazines (including National Geographic), Readers Digest Condensed Books, Soiled/Moldy or Musty items!

Donations up to 5 boxes or less will be accepted during library hours at the Main Library on Harnish and the Branch Library on Eastgate. Please make arrangements with the Friends ahead of time for larger donations.

If you prefer your books to be picked up, please call the Friends (847) 658-4343 Ext. 207.

• Fiction: Hardcover and paperback, Graphic Novels, Manga
• Non Fiction: Biography, History, Gardening, Coffee Table, Time-Life or similar sets
• Childrens Fiction: Picture books, Chapter books, Series (published in the last 10 years)
• Childrens Non Fiction: Animals, Sports, Scouting, (published in the last 10 years)
• Complete childrens puzzles
• Complete Encyclopedia sets & atlases (published in the last 10 years)
• College Textbooks: (published in the last 5 years)
• Computer Books: (published in the last 2 years)
• Young Adult/Teen fiction
