Book Donations

We are a growing library district and we have a very supportive community which donates thousands of books per year. 

To donate your books, simply drop them off at the front desk at either:

The Main library:
2600 Harnish Drive
Algonquin, IL 60102

Or the Branch library:
115 Eastgate Drive
Algonquin, IL 60102

*Please do not use the book return slots for your donations.

Some Saturdays, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, a volunteer is stationed, near the front doors, at the Harnish Branch of the library to personally accept your donations.

If you prefer your books to be picked up, please call (847)658-4343 Ext. 207.

We also accept audio-visual materials such as tapes, CD’s, DVD’s and books on tape for donation.
