Mondays, 10:30-11:15am, March 28 through April 25, the Library hosts an inclusive drop-in playgroup for children who currently receive therapy services or may benefit from therapeutic play. This unique playgroup offers opportunities for children to focus on “developmental” play while families meet and find support. Siblings are welcome.
This group will be run by a speech therapist from Elgin Pediatric Therapy. Please contact the library if your child requires any special accommodations. This program is for children under 5 years old and their caregivers.
Pediatric specialists agree that it’s important for both the little ones and their caregivers to engage in the larger community. This is a great opportunity to gather in a relaxed, neutral environment. Questions? Contact Alicia Parmele, Youth Services Manager, at 847-458-3139.
