Library Services & PoliciesHow to Get a Library Card Adults (18 years and older) must provide a photo ID and proof of current address within the library district in order to obtain a card (see policy for details). An Algonquin/LITH mailing address may not guarantee district residence; phone the Circulation Dept. (458-6060 x140) to verify. Young people aged 5-17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the application in the presence of a staff member. Click here to apply for a card online.
