Wireless Access Availability

Both the main Algonquin Area Public Library on Harnish Dr. and the Eastgate Branch building are now wireless Internet "hot spots" during regular hours. Patrons must bring in their own wireless-ready laptop computers to access the network; a handout is available at the Adult Reference Desk describing login procedures. The wireless network has no virus protection or security features, and printing is not available.

Aside from the information contained in the handout, Library Staff cannot provide any assistance to laptop owners regarding hardware or software issues that may interfere with wireless access.
