Customer Service Associate – Harnish Main Library

25 hours/week – includes evening and weekend hours

Salary: 11.50/hour

Under the supervision of the Access Services Administrator or the Circulation Supervisor, the Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service to library patrons. The Customer Service Associate is the first contact patrons have as they enter the building. In addition to greeting patrons and providing information about the Library, they handle all duties related to the circulation of library materials including registering new cardholders, processing holds, preparing interlibrary loan material, and troubleshooting patron accounts.

Minimum qualifications: high school diploma. Customer service and Library experience preferred.

Customer Service Associate – Eastgate Branch

20 hours/week – includes daytime, evening, and weekend hours

Salary: $11.50/hour

Customer service associates greet and direct library patrons to materials and services, register patrons for library cards, check in/check out materials, accept payments for fines and fees, and perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience with computers. Open until filled.
